On Monday, July 11, 2016 Herold Kern of Cold Lake, AB (formerly of Salmon Arm, BC) passed away at the age of 96 years.
Herold is lovingly survived by his two stepsons: Dwight Fraser of Rimbey, George (Linda) Fraser of Cold Lake; stepdaughter: Elaine Busch of Kamloops; three grandchildren: Stewart (Claudia), Garth (Rosanne), Susie (Ryan); two great grandchildren: Kylie & Josie; niece: Elise (Ed) Britton of Calgary.
Herold was predeceased by his wife: Bertha Kern 2012; grandson: Kevin Fraser; parents: Joseph & Pauline Kern; brother: Gotthilf (Ken) Kern: two sisters: Clara Kern, Hertha Sliter.
At Herold's request no formal service will be held. Cremation has taken place. Final resting place, to take place at a later date.
