Obituary for
Ted Chadwick
On Wednesday, August 17, 2016, Ted Chadwick of Bonnyville, Alberta, formerly of Lashburn, Saskatchewan, passed away at the age of 94 years. Ted worked for years for the former B&P Service Station as a front-end man, after farming for many years. He worked putting together farm machinery for Dood Donald's IHC business, and later continued working for the C&L Service Station until retirement. Ted was also caretaker of the local skating/curling rink during off- season farming. During his retirement, he liked nothing better than visiting his grandchildren, and following the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association circuit. Ted is lovingly survived by; his three children: Dianne (Dale) Winacott of Lashburn, SK, Judy (Warren) Olson of Cold Lake, AB, and Calvin (Twyla) Chadwick of Edmonton, AB; six grandchildren: Richard, Leah, Bethany, Caleb, Samantha, and Caitlyn; five great-grandchildren: Gabryell, Zander, Liam, Lillie, and Isla; two sisters: Evelyn Powers of Lloydminster, AB, and Marion Nylund of Surrey, BC; one sister-in-law: Mary Chadwick of Victoria, BC. Service of Remembrance is Friday, August 26, 2016, at the Lashburn Community Hall, Lashburn, SK, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Phil Crump officiating. Final resting place, Lashburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Lashburn Legion or the Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA).
