Edward Albert "Albert" Thompson
On Monday, December 5, 2016 Edward "Albert" Thompson of Cold Lake, Alberta passed away in Cold Lake at the age of 80 years. Albert is lovingly survived by his beloved spouse, Shirley Viczko; two sons: Christopher Paul Thompson of Edmonton, AB, Allan Joseph (Beverly) Thompson of Victoria, BC; two daughters: Sharon Marie (Porter) Stacey of Pierceland, SK, Mary Frances Neilson of Edson, AB; three sisters: Irma Kroll of London, ON, Sandra Drimmie of London, ON, Norma Corstorphine of Timmins, ON; eighteen grandchildren: Amy Sales, Amanda Sales, Ashley Wiltermuth, Justin Sales, Remington Stacey, Scott Thompson, C.J. Thompson, Lindsay Geist, Jenna Neilson, Jennifer Hopkins, Jeremy Thompson, Julie Thompson, Johnathin Thompson, Joanna Whincup, Joseph Thompson, Janine Thompson, Jillian Thompson, Suzannah Thompson; twenty-four great grandchildren. Albert is also survived by Shirley's two children: Bev (Rod) Trefanenko, Randy (Linn) Penner; two granddaughters: Siobhan (Ben) Winterhalt, Sheree (Jake) Langille.
Albert was predeceased by his first wife, Noreen Thompson (1985); son-in-law: Randall Sales (1991); parents: Raymond & Edna Thompson; two brothers: Douglas Thompson, Ronald Thompson.
At Albert's request cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
