On Thursday, May 25, 2017 Eva Libich of St. Paul, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years. Eva is lovingly survived by her two sons: Paul (Val) Libich of Black Diamond, AB, Peter Libich (Louise Bisson) of St. Paul, AB, daughter: Pauline Yake (Dave Burshtinski) of Glendon, AB; three granddaughters: Lori (Rene) Jean. Jennifer (Richard) Boulianne, Colleen (Brett) Melvin; grandson: Andrew (Nicole) Libich; fifteen great grandchildren: Kelsie, Mackenzie & Kaiden Jean; Braydon, Brooklyn, Drake & Jarett Boulianne; Max, Oscar &Heidi Masters, Laelia & Rocco Melvin; Nate, Owen & Alija Libich; brother: Arnold Balash; five sisters: Nancy Mishaniuk, Mary Yacey, Betty Langkow, Gloria Hladunewich, Connie Mandryk.
Eva was predeceased by her husband: William Libich in 1972; parents: John & Grace Balash; six brothers: Walter Balash, Andrew Balash, Steve Balash, Peter Balash, Victor Balash, Lawrence Balash; sister: Annie Godziuk.
Funeral Service, Monday, May 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Myrnam Senior Citizen Centre, Myrnam, AB with Pastor Duane Grant officiating. Final resting place, St. Peter Ukrainian Independent Cemetery, Myrnam, AB. Pallbearers: Peter Libich, Paul Libich, Richard Boulianne, Andy Libich, Brian Balash, Rodney Godziuk.
