Adele Marguerite Grant (Choquette)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Adele Grant announces her passing on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the St. Therese Hospital in St. Paul, Alberta at the age of 67 years after a courageous battle.
Adele is lovingly survived by her loving husband of 51 years: John Grant of St. Paul, Alberta; four children: Jimmy (Rose) Grant of Ardmore, AB, Marlene (Vince) Strzepek of Alexander, AB, Sandra Grant of Cochan, SK, Angus (Karen) Grant of St. Paul, AB; nine grandchildren: Kyle (Katlyn) Strzepek, Clifford Katcheech, Danielle (Zach) Kalinski, Brittany (Murray) Rodger, Krista Katcheech, Cole Grant, Keenan Katcheech, Brandon Mazur, Evan Ewanchuk; seven great grandchildren: Eian, Cashton, Adele, Sutton, Aubrey, Mackenzie & Sawyer; four siblings: Guy (Doris) Choquette, Giselle Fels, Carmelle (Edward) Fegus, Suzanne (Al) Fossheim.
Adele was predeceased by her parents: Meinard Choquette in 1997 & Adrienne Choquette (neé Mercier) in 2005; seven sisters: Doris, Claire, Yolande, Ann, Ellen, Aline, Denise; three brothers: Gerald, Claude, Gilles.
Funeral Service, Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Fort Kent, Alberta with Father Michael Ngo officiating. Honorary Pallbearer: Brian Chan. Pallbearers: Kyle Strzepek, Clifford Katcheech, Cole Grant, Keenan Katcheech, Zach Kalinski, Murray Rodger. Final resting place, St. Peter & St. Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Alexander, Alberta.
