Travis Richard Fersovitch
It is with saddened hearts that the family of Travis Richard Paul Fersovitch of Fort McMurray, Alberta announce his passing on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 38 years. Travis was born in Slave Lake Alberta. He spent most of his childhood on the family farm in Owl River, Alberta and Fort Chipewyan, Alberta. At the time of his passing, Travis made Fort McMurray his home.
Travis is lovingly survived by his daughter: Rebecca Peters (Donald) of Fort Chipewyan, AB; parents: Richard & Karen Fersovitch of Fort Chipewyan, AB; two sisters: Missie Marten (Russell) of Fort Chipewyan, AB, Anna Hazelwood (Sean) of Stony Plain, AB; niece and nephew: Victoria & Jeremy Marten of Fort Chipewyan, AB; Baba: Mary Fersovitch of Bonnyville; Granny: Gracie Thacker & Grandpa: Ray Thacker both of Fort Chipewyan, AB; biological family in Slave Lake, AB; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Travis was predeceased by his Gido: Nick Fersovitch; Best friend/Cousin: Jon Groothuysen; Granny Michael; Aunty Nellie, Uncle Tim.
Funeral Service, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Iron River Open Bible Fellowship Church, Iron River, Alberta with Pastor Trevor Schaffrick officiating. Final Resting Place, Garth Evangelical Cemetery, Garth, AB.
