Peacefully, on April 16th, 2018, Ms. Angeline O’Grady, known as Angie, passed away at the age of 79 years. Angie was the second child to John & Mary Panich, born on the family farm in St. Michael, Alberta. Angie grew up in the City of Edmonton and in later years moved to Bonnyville, Alberta.
Angie worked as a credit collector for various companies throughout her life. Angie enjoyed oil painting, gardening, fishing, baking and had a special talent for making various homemade pies.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters Kim (Sam) Day and Deneen (Steven Hutton) Holowaychuk, her three grandchildren, Kyle, Krista, Melissa; her partner Vince Schaefer; two sisters: Joyce Roggeveen & Betty Tessier.
Angeline was predeceased by her two sons, Darrell and Cary Hackman.
Funeral service will be held in Edmonton on Tuesday, May 1st at 11:00 am at St. Clare’s Church, 6310-118 Avenue. Inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton. Cremation has taken place.
