I'm not sure if you remember me but my son Jari and I are members of Trinity United Church in Cold Lake and that's where I met you and George. I was saddened to learn of George's passing and my heart breaks for you. I recall chatting with both of you during services and various other church meetings/events, as well as running into each other in the community. I want you to know that our encounters had such a positive effect on me as I always walked away feeling a little lighter and cheerier! Your attitudes and approach to life were such wonderful examples to others and definitely something I hope to emulate. While it may seem cliche and certainly repetitious at this time, I need to tell you that my thoughts are with you and that you are most definitely in my prayers. God bless you and your family as you move forward in this difficult time in your lives. Rest in peace George and know how deeply you will be missed.
