Ted Dierkhising
On Friday, March 31, 2017 Ted Dierkhising of Ardmore, Alberta passed away peacefully, with family by his side in Bonnyville, Alberta at the age of 86 years.
Ted is lovingly survived by his wife of 50 years: Verna Dierkhising; six children: Shannon (Norm) Soucy, Bernadette Thill ( Doug Price), Leland Dierkhising, Shane Dierkhising, Anita (Robin) Sanderson, Colleen (James) Thill-Haiden; thirteen grandchildren: Theresa, Will, Kelly, Jessica, Alec, Sam, Regan, Aiden, Wyatt, Emily, Zachary, Ashton, Susan; two great grandchildren: Nathaniel, Ethan; sister: Lynda (Percy) Collins; sister-in-law: Elsie Dierkhising; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Ted was predeceased by his parents: Bill & Stella Dierkhising; nine siblings: Elsie, Walter, Mickey, Shirley, Leo, Lyle, Arnold, Bernard, Fred.
Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo as Celebrant. Pallbearers: Bill Starman, Herb Dierkhising, Richard Collins, Will Thill, Alec Dierkhising, Sam Dierkhising. Final resting place, St. Peter & St. Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Alexander, Alberta.
